Sabrina Garciarena is beautiful!! And this movie is hilarious!! Great script and great performances (with some exceptions). The mockumentary parts are instant classics (and the girl in those parts is a movie on her own!). Really fun and what's best, original!

Opening 3rd July / Prejudices without Pride

The movies opening today (or yesterday if you're called Ice age 3) in Zaragoza are:

1. Okuribito (Departures): Foreign language Oscar and it seems a moving film. And it's so cool to say you loved the last movie by Yôjirô Takita... Seeing it.

2. Ice age: Dawn of the dinosaurs: I saw the trailer for this before Wolverine and two people actually died of laughter. It's a lie but they laughed a lot and I couldn't figure out why. It was sooooo not funny. Not seeing it.

3. The last house on the left: Haven't seen the original and not planning on seeing the remake. Not seeing it.

4. Pagafantas: The first movie by the director of TV hilarious show Vaya semanita. I can't believe I'm saying this about a movie that stars Michel Brown but... Seeing it.

5. Tres dies amb la família: Won some awards at Málaga festival and I have some traction towards it. Seeing it.

A busy weekend it seems. Good thing it's summer already...

Like May Water (July and in a lesser extent)

No matter how much I want to see Up, there are other films in July I'm kind of interested in and it felt unfair to them. (Don't tell any of these films but Up is the first thing on my mind).
