Cartography in Dolby Surround

Map of the sounds of Tokyo would definitely win the worst dubbing award ever. Sergi López was uninspired. Rinko is beautiful sometimes. Her character is very interesting. So is the narrator. Cinematography is great. Sound effects are greater. Good movie. Not Coixet's best.

Thank you, Mr. Von Trier

Antichrist is a wonderful film. At first I was a little afraid because I'm a pussy and I have really bad moments with horror movies, but this movie is not about fear, it is about pain. And if there's something Lars Von Trier understands, that's pain. The whole cast (ehem...) is amazing, though like the jury at Cannes 09 I would stand out Gainsbourg's complex and moving performance. The technical aspects are exquisite as is the brief soundtrack.
It really pisses me off that this movie is going to be remembered by a few moments, that though pivotal to the story, are not its core.
Simply a masterpiece.

The oscar to the beautiful yet useless cinematography goes to...

... Mihai Malaimare Jr.
(Cinematography in this film is beautiful though the photo I've found is flat as Nicole Richie)
